Activity 1
Coordinated field activities
This activity encompasses the integrated and coordinated field campaigns that are vital for the success of Activities 2, 3, and 4, while observations and research outcomes from these field campaigns will inform Activity 5.
All TRIA-FoR research activities rely on complex field work for sample collection over all four seasons. Field experiments involve collection and processing of pine and mountain pine beetle samples as well as associated data across multiple sites. Field activities and collections also involve consultation with several of our partner organizations and collaborators.
